Shochu is tipped to be the next “it” drink. Indeed, in Japan shochu is consumed more than sake itself. In collaboration with the International Sake School, London-based VSF’s Sake and Shochu Educator and British Sake Association Chairman Marie Cheong-Thong is launching the Shochu Adviser course in the UK this April.
At this inaugural in-person course, Toshio Ueno, Founder and Director of the International Sake School, will also be present.
The course will take place on 29th and 30th April 2023 at a central location in London, followed by a one-hour online exam to be taken from the comfort of your own home.
Course Dates: Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April 2023
Time: tentatively 09:00 – 18:30 UK Time
Venue: London Zone 1 or 2 (exact location to be confirmed)
Exam Date: May 2023 (exact date/time to be confirmed)
Exam Format: 100 multiple choice questions to be completed within 60 mins online
