The British Sake Association warmly invites you and your guests to our 2022 Grand Tasting of Sake! Over 100 different sakes will be available for tasting on this very special evening.
UPDATE: The BSA has now announced the Grand Tasting masterclasses and the menu choices ready for those who have purchased tickets. We also wanted to update that due to the recently announced train strike on Sat Oct 8, we have decided to start the event a bit earlier in case some guests need to depart early to catch trains. Doors will now open at 4:30pm, with the same finish time of 8:30pm to allow 4 hours of tasting opportunity for our valued members and guests.

Our highly anticipated annual charity raffle will again be held, with fantastic prizes of premium sake, shochu and more from our sponsors and exhibitors.
Glasses will be provided, but you are highly encouraged to bring your own ochocko for additional drinking enjoyment!
Ticket price includes:
– 100+ premium sake available to taste on the night
– one charity raffle ticket (additional tickets can be purchased on the night)
– one starter size bowl of food or cheese platter to accompany the sakes, prepared by award-winning Chef Issa at Putney Pantry (additional food available for pre-order)
The ticket price for 2022 has increased slightly, as the food has not been sponsored this year. The included item will be starter/tapas size, not a full meal. Those of you who remember how good the bowls were last year may want to order extra food! This can be done at a cost of £7 per item, but must be ordered beforehand – we will contact you after booking to confirm the full menu and additional orders.

- Crispy pork belly congee (Asian rice porridge) with wilted greens
- Risotto nero (squid ink risotto) and chilli squid
- Macaroni cheese with vegetable ratatouille (VEG)
- Cheese platter with membrillo and oat crackers

While our annual dues have remained at £30 for many years, for 2023 the BSA needs to raise our annual membership fees for 2023 to £40.
