British Sake Association Members’ Social

Get to know your fellow BSA members in a small and intimate group.

「酒が沈むと言葉が浮かぶ」– “sake ga shizumu to kotoba ga ukabu” ‘When sake trickles down, words bubble up!’

How better to enjoy and explore the charm of sake than over conversation with fellow sake enthusiasts? Members will have the opportunity to share a bottle of sake of their choosing with fellow members, while tasting a dozen or more themselves, in the warm and intimate setting of Tacco Delicatessen in Fulham. Let’s fill each others’ o-choko and kanpai over tales of our chosen bottle, sharing our impressions, while deepening our sake knowledge along the way.

Our Chair and distinguished sake educator, Marie Cheong-Thong, and other members of the BSA Committee will naturally be on hand to share their knowledge with Members, looking behind the label of Japan’s sacred brew. As the sake flows, so will the conversation!

Included in their ticket price, Members can expect a delicious Italian feast of cheeses, salami, and freshly baked focaccia and taralli to complement what will doubtless be a beautiful array of sake.
