WSET Level 3 Sake 4-Day Weekend Course with VSF and British Sake Association

The WSET Level 3 Award in Sake is the highest sake qualification accredited by the UK Government, and is supported by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries (MAFF) as well as the Sake Samurai Association.

In this course, you’ll taste sakes hailing from Japan’s different regions using different water sources, different rice varieties, different yeast strains and different production methods, so as to have a thorough understanding of the huge array of sake styles and flavour profiles. Some of the sakes will be brought in from Japan direct and aren’t even available in the UK! Upon completion of the course, you will be able to assess sakes accurately and use this information to make authoritative recommendations.

The course will be co-taught by Marie (Chairman of The British Sake Association) and Tony (VSF’s Marketing Director) – both are WSET Certified Educators for Sake – and we’ve had excellent track records: Most students have passed with “distinction” or “merit”!
