
The 2025 J.S.A. SAKE DIPLOMA course has officially launched! The J.S.A. SAKE DIPLOMA is one of the most famous and prestigious qualifications in Japan.
For individuals wanting to further develop and polish their expertise in sake and shochu, this qualification will provide you with a comprehensive understanding on the subject including sake history, sake rice varieties, the science behind sake production methods, major sake production regions (20 prefectures!), shochu production and its varieties.
This year, we will be offering a mixed of online zoom or recordings for students followed by in-person days with Toshio Ueno in London with a final revision day before the exam.
Questions for the exam will be taken out from the English version of the revised J.S.A. SAKE DIPLOMA Textbook <FOURTH Edition> published in May 2025.

Prerequisite: WSET Level 3 Award in Sake or SSI International Kikizake-shi qualification, or have a strong sake or wine background prior to enrolment in the course.

The course fee includes J.S.A SAKE DIPLOMA’s official study materials, classroom tuition, revision, sake samples, examination, certification and postage.
