First BSA Members’ Sake Study Group of 2024 on the 29th January! – Tickets now on Sale!

The BSA Committee once again invites you to share some sake in conversation with your fellow BSA Members. To kick the year off, our first Study Group will feature (we anticipate!) a wide range of sakes stretching across styles and categories — the theme: Members’ Choice!

Whether you bring a sake of special significance to you, one you’ve long been meaning to try, or perhaps a bottle you’ve been saving to share with other enthusiasts, the evening will allow for Members to sharpen both their theoretical and practical sake knowledge in a jovial and friendly environment. As ever, we would encourage Members to come prepared to speak briefly about the sake they have chosen, so as to create additional opportunities for learning and dialogue. Rest assured, the BSA team will be on hand to guide and develop discussion of your chosen sake too.

Join us at our usual meeting spot — Vagabond Monument — where charcuterie and fromagerie, small plates, and the ever-popular steak sharers will provide a counterpoint to the wonderful range of sakes kindly brought by attendees.

Date: Monday 29th January 2024
Time:
7pm to 9pm
Address:
Vagabond Monument, 51 Gracechurch Street, EC3V 0EH
(nearest stations: Monument, Cannon Street)

Members tickets can be purchased by clicking on the blue button above, which will direct you to Paypal. If you have any issues booking, please email us at events@britishsakeassociation.org and we will be happy to assist.

Tickets are strictly limited, to ensure proper attention is paid to each sake kindly shared by Members.

Attending Members will each bring one 720ml/750ml bottle of a sake of their choosing to the event. After you have purchased your ticket, please email us at events@britishsakeassociation.org to suggest two potential sake options you can bring on the night. The BSA Committee will go through attendees’ suggestions before the event to ensure a suitable selection (ensuring no duplicate sakes), and advise you before Jan 29th which of your suggested bottles to bring. Food and glassware will be provided.

If you aren’t sure what to get, we are happy to provide suggestions for you via email!

*** If you have to cancel your booking after purchasing a ticket, we are able to offer a full credit towards a future BSA event up until 72 hours before the event start. After this time, a credit will only be possible if we can re-sell your space to another member. Thank you for your understanding.
